If you live in Broadford, Kilmore, Wallan, or anywhere in Mitchell Shire or the surrounding region, you already know what I’m about to describe.
You’ve driven past the same generic gym. You’ve looked at wellness options online and found that everything genuinely good: the experienced instructors, the considered programmes, the practitioners who actually specialise in women’s health is in Melbourne. An hour away at minimum. More in traffic. Not impossible, but not realistic for a Tuesday morning or a Thursday evening when you also have work and family and a life that doesn’t pause for a wellness commute.
So you’ve made do. Or you’ve given up. Or you’ve kept telling yourself that one day, when things are different, you’ll find something that actually fits.
I want to tell you that something exists here, now, where you live. And I want to tell you why I chose to build it here rather than somewhere with more obvious commercial opportunity.
Why regional women deserve better
The women I work with in this region are not people with less demanding lives than their Melbourne counterparts. In many cases the opposite is true. The distances are greater. The support networks are thinner. The commute to specialist services, whether that’s a women’s health physiotherapist, an experienced Pilates instructor, or a practitioner who understands perimenopause, is real and significant.
And yet the need is identical. A woman navigating perimenopause in Kilmore is experiencing exactly the same hormonal and physical changes as a woman navigating it in Fitzroy. A new mother recovering from birth in Broadford needs exactly the same careful, informed movement support as one in Richmond. The body doesn’t know what postcode it lives in.
What differs is access. And that gap is something I take seriously.
What I’ve built here and why
I live in regional Victoria. I practice here, I work here, and I’ve chosen to build Omazing here because this is where the need is most real and most underserved.
I offer private one-on-one sessions and small groups of no more than five women, not because I couldn’t fill a larger class, but because the kind of attention I believe women deserve cannot be delivered in a room of twenty people. You get a programme built for your specific body. You get someone who notices what changed between last week and this week. You get the kind of care that simply isn’t possible at scale.
I also offer mobile sessions: I come to you because I understand that new mothers, women with limited transport, and women managing demanding schedules shouldn’t have to add a difficult journey to an already full life to access quality movement support.
This is not a compromise version of what exists in the city. It is something different, more personal, more considered, and more genuinely suited to how regional women actually live.
What’s available to you right now
Private yoga and Pilates sessions in Broadford, with travel available within 30km. Small group sessions for three to five women. Monthly workshops on women’s health themes: menopause, postnatal recovery, restorative movement, and more. And eventually, as my nutrition study progresses, integrated movement and nutrition support for women at every stage of life.
All of it within your community. Without the Melbourne commute.
A note on where I practice
I’m currently working from a home studio in Broadford and travelling to clients within 30 kilometres. I’m also actively looking for the right community space in the region somewhere warm, accessible, and genuinely suited to the kind of quiet, considered practice I offer. If you know of something that might work, I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
The simple thing I want you to know
You don’t have to drive to Melbourne for this service. You don’t have to settle for something generic because nothing better exists nearby. You don’t have to keep putting your health at the bottom of the list because access feels too hard.
Quality, personalised, women-focused movement support exists in your community right now. It’s here because I believe regional women deserve it. And because I’ve seen what happens when someone finally gets the right support for their body at the right life stage, with the right attention and I want more women in this region to have that experience.
If anything on this page resonates with you, the contact form takes five minutes to fill in. That’s the whole distance between where you are and where you could be.
